CGM and ISM Metals during Reionization (Dissertation) Using Technicolor Dawn simulations, we explore the metals within the CGM and ISM of galaxies and how they are impacted with our models. First, we linked nearby absorbers to potential host galaxies to see if there is a relation between species and strength vs. galaxy mass or luminosity.
- LAF of H Reionizaion: Using Technicolor Dawn simulations, we explore the HI structure of the IGM through the epoch of Reionization. We analyzed the impact of assuming photo-ionization equilibrium on the IGM compared to our radiative models.
Post-baccalaureate Project
- Gamma-Ray Emissions from Galaxies: we are looking at gamma-ray emissions captured with Fermi LAT and correlating them with optical, IR, and UV surveys of the galactic population in order to see if any emissions correlate with galactic properties and structures.
Undergraduate Projects
- Source Extractor Morphometrics: Using prior morphometric calculations of galaxies within CANDELS, we run Source Extractor to see how it compares, via statistical analysis, on accuracy and precision when it comes to calculating galactic morphometry. From our results, we view Source Extractor to be marginally off, but still preserves trends.

- High-redshift Quantitative Morphology: With what we know of z~8 galaxies, we look to compute quantitative, scale-invariant morphological parameters and see if there exists any sort of trend within this population, and attempt to see if this can be applied to future hunts. We find interesting groupings for these galaxies comparing them to their Gini and asymmetry.
